Nice Scarf!

I was out and about the other day and popped into Tatty Devine in Covent Garden where I met the lovely sales assistant who was looking really great in her Moschino scarf wrapped into a head scarf. I love that the colours of the scarf really stand out on the black outfit.

A good idea on how to wear you silk scarves... give it a go!

Illusions

This week I received a book of optical illusions as a present from my friend as she thought it would be good to help generate ideas for my scarves... and very right she was!

The book includes a range of different pieces that include a combination of images to create an overall interesting and detailed pattern with really beautiful colours. The combinations and styles would look really great in the Lucy Jay style on a scarf with the carefully chosen colour palettern. I really love the rich yellows and blues of the second image.

The only problem is they are optical illusions and if you stare at them they will show up an image... I was never good at them when I was younger and have realised I am no better now!
